When a concerned citizen called the Upland Planning Department (Development Services) this morning, they got the outrageous news that the Department was CANCELING the Planning Commission Meeting for this next Wednesday, May 27th - the one we were all planning to attend.

The reason: There were NO agenda items - nothing to discuss - so therefore they were cancelling the meeting.

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!  They know many were coming to be part of the PC's study session on the new General Plan and to voice concerns. It's obvious they don't want to hear what we have to say.

CHANGE OF PLANS:

COME TO THE

CITY COUNCIL MEETING THE NIGHT BEFORE.

TUESDAY, MAY 26TH AT 7 PM AT CITY HALL

(changed to Tuesday since Monday is Memorial Day holiday)

IT IS CRITICAL THAT WE ALL SHOW UP TO THIS TUESDAY MEETING.

WE MUST LET THE COUNCIL KNOW WE DO NOT ACCEPT THIS TREATMENT NOR THEIR NEW GENERAL PLAN!
